Calming The Mind chatter!
A Map to Empowerment and Inner Peace.
Mind chatter is when we experience a random, ceaseless dialogue that includes thoughts such as fear, doubt, lack, limitation, sadness, anger and/or to do lists. In this course, we will look closely at mind chatter and how it is connected to our Mind, Body & Spirit. We will also identify some of the mind numbing activities and distractions that add to our mind chatter. We will offer a variety of calming and empowering exercises that have been proven to assist in decreasing anxiety, decreasing physical pain, enhance sleep, strengthen the immune system, enhance the ability to heal and increase well-being. When we choose to practice these exercises daily for 10-15 minutes we will see benefits of a “quieter” mind and a more relaxed body.
Length of class: 4 weeks
Week One: Understanding Mind Chatter
Week Two: Choosing Calm Over Fear-Based Thinking
Week Three: Focus on Trust Rather Than Doubt
Week Four: Choosing to Live in Peace and Quiet
Time requirements: 10-15 minutes each day (2.5 hours per week)
Intentions for this class:

There are many gifts within each of us that are begging to be explored and one of the best ways to do that is by going within and quieting the mind. You will each obtain a set of tools and techniques that support living a life with more Peace and Serenity and less Mind Chatter. My desire for you is that you experience personal emotional freedom and Peace of Mind.
Course Guidelines
Online courses can be a great way to learn new skills and enhance your life. I want you to get the most out of your online experience, so I have compiled a few tips to assist you. You will receive one lesson each week at 12AM on Monday's. Each course will include specific instructions designed to expand your consciousness, so you may want to reserve a specific time each day that you intend to work on your course. You will want to dedicate a journal or notebook to this course for the daily exercises. You will want to choose the best working environment for you, a place where you are comfortable and productive at the same time. Maybe you will want to grab a cup of coffee, your journal and headphones before you get started. The most important thing is that you are comfortable and able to concentrate.
Be sure to go through all of the course content each week and actively participate in your course by doing the suggested weekly exercises and activities, watch videos and journal or take notes to capture some of the practices that speak to you most. You can set your own completion deadlines and personal goals each week to help you maintain motivation. Connect with others through the discussion forum, via email, or maybe post your own tips, tools and thoughts to begin a dialogue. When interacting in the forum, review your comments and thoughts before you post. You may want to take a second glance at what you've written before you post it. This will help to ensure that others will easily understand your thoughts and ideas and possibly avoid confusion. Interacting with others in our online forum will not only help you get more out of your experience by provoking deeper thought and a deeper understanding of the topic, but this will essentially enrich the experience for everyone in the class!
*Please note that this 4-week class offers tools to expand your consciousness and this expansion process does not end here. It will continue to expand for the rest of your life. You will also find that what you learn and experience, through this process, will be applicable in every aspect of your life. However, applying it and practicing it is what will take determination and repetition.
Much of our suffering in life stems from thoughts of not having enough and not being enough. These thoughts stir up all kinds of fears that grip us with such force we can’t see the distortion they cause. And so, we end up taking for granted what we have and we fail to see our greatness.
The good news is that the antidote to fear is appreciation. The simple act of appreciation shifts your mindset from not enough to good and plenty. Appreciation stops the brain from streaming those self-destructive messages that drain your energy.
It’s a neurological fact. The brain cannot be in a state of appreciation and a state of fear at the same time. This means that when you choose to live with appreciation you naturally reduce your fears and increase your resilience.~~Live Dynamite – Rolf Gates
